Earlier this year I had the pleasure of interviewing Sarah Butler, the grounded and thoughtful star of Steven R. Monroe’s 2010 remake of Meir Zarchi’s incendiary 1978 rape-revenge film I Spit On Your Grave. The resulting article appears in the April 2011 issue of FILMINK Magazine. The phone interview was conducted in un-air conditioned splendour during the height of Sydney’s summer heat wave, which added a certain lunatic edge to the whole experience.
